Automotive Lift Power Unit that's widely seen on many lift brands, used by Challenger, BendPak, Quality, Manitowoc, and many other lift Manufacturers. This SPX Fenner Power Unit was also used on almost every Rotary Lift made before they decided to start using the Italian made 

"Global Power Unit" that costs twice the amount to replace when you need to.

This single phase 220v power unit can be adapted to almost any 2-POST or 4-POST vehicle lift requiring a 4-GALLON TANK CAPACITY, that had a different brand power unit originally mounted on the column.  (The removable plastic plug to the left of the lowering valve on the side of the valve body is the pressure hose hook-up point. There is a capped return hose port too, if you need it.) 

NOTE! This unit will not work on "Rotary Inbay Model" lifts.

 

It works well for 4-POST lifts that require a 4 gallon tank capacity too!

To use on a 15,000 or 18,000 pound capacity 2-post or even larger capacity 4-post lift you may want to purchase a different relief valve to raise the working pressure from the standard 2,450 PSI the unit has, to a higher PSI for higher output pressure. 

Simply unscrew the cap on the valve body and replace the relief valve, and screw the cap back on the valve body. This simple task takes 5 minutes to do.

NOTE! Do not exceed the rated capacity of the lift or the individual lifting arms on it!

Specifications for this power unit:

This power unit will work fine on almost any brand 10,000 lb. even 12,000 lb. capacity 2 post lift. It has a pressure outlet available on either side of the valve body for hook-up and a return line port available if you need one. Extra ports are capped so if you don't need them, just leave them alone.  

Over-height limit switch wires on your lift (if you have them) need to interrupt one motor power wire while your wiring it up.

If you have a Forward or other brand that has a "thin cable operated over-height limit mechanism" you may want the unit at this LINK It has a built in limit switch that the cable pulls to kill the power.

Lift Not Lifting As Well Lately?

"O" Ring & Seal Kit Revitalizes Your SPX Fenner Oil Pump

K-40 Pump Seal Kit

 If your power unit is losing pressure and has difficulty lifting vehicles like it used to, you may need to replace the internal pump seals... worn leaky seals between the pump and valve body inside the power unit tank, allow the oil from the pump to squeeze past and return to the tank instead of filling the hydraulic cylinders. Worn "O" rings between the pump and suction tube allows air into the system and can also cause the pump to lose it's "prime" and take longer to build pressure before it begins to raise the load... Several special seals and "O" rings are included in this pump seal replacement kit. Installing the parts from this kit takes about a half an hour, and even a Monkey could probably do it if you bribe it with a banana or two!  

No oil draining necessary because it just stays in the tank when you lower it.
